This is a compilation mainly featuring expanded versions of 2 releases of mine from 3 days apart in 2018, as well as a couple from 2019 and one from mid 2020. ive meant to always put out something like this but only in the last few days did i take any time out to sift through all of it and its pretty rough but ive come to respect it more with age for what i put into it. the last 3 tracks i think are some of the first harsh noise pieces i ever recorded and i never did anything with them. This was when i was first learning how to really make music and its much more simple than what i make these days but i think it has some charm cuz of that. idk. 🤪 ENJOY!!!!!!!!

Tracks 1-2 originally released on august 20th, 2018 (self released), but Side A was unreleased til now.
Tracks 3-4 originally released on August 23rd, 2018 on aarugate.bandcamp.com/album/wilderness, Side A was also unreleased until now. Remixed earlier today.
Track 5 was a totally unreleased recording i forgot about. Recorded on December 12th, 2019.

Sleeping In is an East coast independant industrial electronic music project, with a heavy fixation on lo fi production values, a "fuck you" attitude, and a heavy emphasis on texture and atmosphere. There is also a topical fixation on life cycles and the relationship between nature and technology.
